PH Digital commissioned Studio 11:11 to convert a newly acquired warehouse into a workplace that supports its growing team while providing a welcoming setting for clients. The design reflects the company’s position in the digital marketing industry while placing equal emphasis on functionality and staff wellbeing. Located in a central Auckland suburb, the warehouse offers generous natural light, high ceilings and a large open floor plate, presenting both opportunities and challenges for the new workspace.

While retaining the character of the industrial shell, the project introduces a series of more intimate spaces that soften the scale of the existing building. The sequence begins at the entrance, conceived as a low-lit, enclosed space that contrasts with the bright, open-plan office beyond. This transition establishes a more comfortable and human-scaled environment within the warehouse's expansive interior.

The material palette balances the building’s industrial qualities with warmer, tactile finishes. Galvanised steel, textured paint, cast in-situ basalt slabs and textured glass pivot doors are paired with softer elements, including a raw wool wall hanging that also serves as acoustic treatment. Together, these materials preserve the warehouse’s original character while creating a more welcoming atmosphere.

Alongside the open workspace, the office includes a kitchen and bar, a boardroom, meeting rooms and two private phone pods. The boardroom incorporates layered textures, an integrated bar and custom joinery, while the kitchen is designed to accommodate both everyday use and client events. The project creates a workplace that balances the scale of the existing warehouse with spaces that support collaboration, focused work and hospitality.
